History

Foundation of the company "Faust Fertigungstechnik" by Horst Eckard, Bruno Frey and
Gerhard Faust.

Year 1978

Erection of a new assembly shop with 1000m²

Year 1981

Expansion of manufacture and assembly by 500m²

Year 1984

Erection of a second assembly shop with 1000m² and an additional administration building.
Shortly after, erection of a third assembly shop with 3000m², a technical office and 2000m² social
facility rooms.

Year 1989

Opening of a sales office in England.

Year 1990

Opening of a sales office in Niederzissen.

Further extension of manufacture by founding the FFT Flexible Fertigungstechnik Schmalkalden
GmbH & Co. KG with its headquarters in Schmalkalden.

Year 1996

Foundation of the FFT Mexico S.A. de C.V. with own manufacture. Headquarters in Puebla, Mexiko.

Year 1998

Foundation of the FFT Flexible Fertigungstechnik Engineering GmbH & Co. KG in Köln and
the FFT Tecnologías de Automoción S.A. with its headquarters in Valencia, Spanien.

Year 2001

Expansin of the production and assembly areas by erection of a 10.000m² shop in the industrial zone
of Fulda West.
Extension of the sales activities to Brazil, in co-operation with EDAG AG.

Year 2003

Foundation of the FFT EDAG Produktionssysteme GmbH & Co. KG with the headquarters in Fulda West

Year 2004

Taking over by Fa. EDAG AG in Fulda.

Year 2008

Accretion to FFT EDAG Production Systems GmbH & Co. KG
