IIC 2023

On September 13 and 14, FFT and several partners organized the first IIC 2023 "Innovation in Digital Planning & Production" conference in Fulda. On both days, visitors were introduced to the future of digital factory and work planning, its advantages as well as opportunities and possibilities of digital work and process planning.

The first day began with a keynote from Nividia on the topic of "Breakthrough for the Virtual Factory at BMW". In addition, various project reports were presented. The focus of all talks and discussions was on digitalization in the context of holistic plant, production and process planning. There was also plenty of opportunity to exchange information with each other and with the exhibiting companies about new developments in the industry. The participants rounded off the day with a guided tour of Fulda and a joint dinner at the Wiesenmühle.

The second day started with a keynote on the topic of "Digitalization in the product life cycle for an efficient ramp-up of the entire factory" and a panel discussion as well as a keynote by our Managing Director Tristan Pfurr who highlighted the practical implementation in day-to-day business. Afterwards, participants could get hands-on in various workshops and test planning tools, VR glasses and software.

The conference concluded with an excursion to the ShowArea in the afternoon. Here, many of the topics had already been addressed were demonstrated in practice, creating an excellent bridge between theory and practice that impressed many visitors.
