Handling tasks inside production lines often fail because of high weight of products that needs to be transported. This problem occurs amongst other when automotive production needs more flexibility. In this case we normally have to apply more different tools in one station for more derivates. The use of carbon fibre hybrid structures can often solve the problem of too heavy production tools. FFT has developed a CFK hybrid tooling. This tooling reduces the weight significant, so that robots can handle complex tooling sets.
