Adhesive is often used in the roller hemming process to protect against corrosion. If the adhesive leaks at the end of the seam joint, the seam rollers become dirty. Functional sequence of the FFThemtec Roller Cleaner Simple cleaning in 4 steps
Step 1
For the cleaning process, the robot moves with the hemming roller in front of the drive element.
Step 2
There are spring-loaded drivers on the drive element for turning the hemming roller.
Step 3
The motor rotates the carrier and the hemming roller.
Step 4
Moisten the hemming roller with a minimum amount of oil and remove the adhesive with a scraper.
