The FFThemtec Twinstep is a high-precision roller hemming system for industrial robots that combines two hemming steps in a single movement thanks to its unique double roller concept. As a result, conventional processes can be significantly shortened and cycle times noticeably reduced. The folding head can be used universally and is therefore perfect for your production.
Straight flanges, flat surfaces and component-compatible geometries are required for optimum use - FFT checks these carefully in advance. Thanks to its modular design, the hemming head can handle standard hemming geometries such as flat and drop hemming and is equally suitable for steel and aluminium components.
A precise pneumatic cylinder and an integrated force measurement sensor ensure reproducible quality and enable efficient process optimisation. Controlled directly via the industrial robot, the system can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems. With the Twinstep, FFT offers an elegant, high-performance solution that makes roller hemming processes faster, more precise and more economical.
