Functional description FFThemtec M folding processes

FFThemtec MP

Step 1

  • Folding frame is manually fixed to the body.
  • The roller hemming head is placed in the start position on the hemming frame.

Step 2

  • Folding roller 1 is moved into position manually using the adjusting wheel on the folding head.
  • The folding roller is moved pneumatically to the folding frame by pressing the switch on the control panel.

Step 3

  • The first folding step is started via the two-hand start on the control panel. The pneumatic motor switches off automatically in the end position.
  • The folding rollers are opened and the next folding roller is brought into position using the adjusting wheel.
  • The process is repeated for the following folding steps.

FFThemtec Single

Roller Hemming Head

The modular FFThemtec Single is a flexible, robot-guided roller hemming tool for flat, drop, wedge and special folds made of steel and aluminum, which easily serves multiple derivatives in one production line.

FFThemtec Roller Cleaner

Automated roller cleaner

The Roller Cleaner automates the cleaning of hemming rolls without interrupting the process. A robot positions the hemming roller in front of the drive element.

The roller is minimally wetted with oil, and a scraper removes the sticking glue.
