Installation of the FFTweldtec Test Station Components of our test station

Control cabinet
  • Rittal 2 - compartment enclosure with Lütze component frame
  • Equipped with main switch, PLC, fuse outlets and measuring devices
Media plate
  • Connection plate with various adapter plugs for the different systems
  • Motor cables, control cables, bus cables, hoses for the cooling circuit systems
Drive controls
  • Depending on the customer design, the corresponding drive controller is taken into account
  • ABB, KUKA, KRC4, KUKA KRC5, Fanuc, Bosch
Panel PCs
  • The operator concept includes a user-friendly visualization. The visualization guides the operator step by step through the test sequence
  • Visualization and various software runs on 2x panel PCs outside the protective circuit of the test station and 1x PC inside the protective circuit.
Security concept
  • In addition to various software and hardware, the safety concept also includes a safety fence with a view of the test specimen.
  • Depending on the installation location, this is designed according to customer specifications and always includes a swing door so that the test specimen can be pushed into the protected area.
Examination
  • A test report is filed at the end of a test for each pair of pliers.
  • Any necessary drive system files are also stored for all tongs.
Water-air control cabinet
  • Rittal 2 - compartment cabinet
  • Equipped with frequency-controlled water pump, decentralized peripherals for valves and controllers incl. air injection for blow-out function
  • Water tank for closed cooling water circuit and external cooling unit
Test or assembly column
  • The test specimen is mounted on a test or mounting column using quick-release couplings.
  • The height of the test or mounting column can be adjusted using several mounts.

Changing electrode caps on stationary welding guns

The Mobile TipChanger enables fast, automatic change of electrode caps on welding guns. Compact and lightweight, it can be easily mounted on the robot arm. Level sensors monitor the cap level.

FFTweldtec VarioPicker® EVO

Material-locking hemming fixation

These fixing points, which are set with the VarioPicker® EVO, are used to connect the outer skin to the support structure. The fixing points are created with a material bond, eliminating the need for gelling after hemming.

The FFTweldtec Offline Projection Welding Machine manually welds nuts and bolts. It is PLC-controlled, mobile and enables quick tool changes for various components. Ideal for a flexible production.
