Our mobile cap changer is an innovative solution for the automated and time-optimised replacement of electrode caps on stationary welding guns. It was specially developed for flexible use in modern manufacturing processes and impresses with its compact design and low weight, which allows for easy integration into robot grippers.
The electrode cap changing process is fully automatic and takes place in a precisely coordinated sequence. The mobile cap changer aligns itself precisely with the individual electrode arms of the stationary welding gun one after the other and performs the cap change – without the need for manual intervention.
The design of the magazine is optimally matched to the changing tool: both components are mounted in the same orientation, so that no additional reorientation of the mobile cap changer (M-EKW) is necessary during the changing process.
