Options for the FFTweldtec Mobile TipChanger

Standardized collection container
  • The FFT collection container is used for the targeted disposal of used electrode caps in production systems in the automotive industry.
  • The electrode caps are emptied from the collection container via the disposal flap (manually operated).
  • The caps are directed into a transport container via the chute.
High force version
  • The FFT M-EKW-HK enables the smooth and automatic replacement of used electrode caps for resistance spot welding on stationary guns.
  • The FFTweldtecMobile TipChanger removes the electrode caps via a wedge separator that moves linearly between the electrode cap and the starting collar of the electrode shaft.
  • The electrodes are pressed onto the welding gun for resistance spot welding using high-force technology.
Robot docking
  • Direct connection of an FFTweldtecMobile TipChanger to any robot
  • Can be used universally, whether with or without the high-force option of the mobile electrode cap changer
  • Standardized design guarantees fast delivery times and optimized interfaces
  • Individual customer requirements can be taken into account.

Changing electrode caps on stationary welding guns

The Mobile TipChanger enables fast, automatic change of electrode caps on welding guns. Compact and lightweight, it can be easily mounted on the robot arm. Level sensors monitor the cap level.

FFTweldtec VarioPicker® EVO

Material-locking hemming fixation

These fixing points, which are set with the VarioPicker® EVO, are used to connect the outer skin to the support structure. The fixing points are created with a material bond, eliminating the need for gelling after hemming.

We offer you the design and development of WPS gun base bodies and special welding machines, 3D construction (CATIA V5, UG), FEM calculation, creation of measurement and test protocols as well as data handling in the customer system.
