Quality control system for welding work Smart Electrode

The SMART ELETRODE developed by FFT, which is equipped with a coding system, enables control measurements.

  • The intelligent electrodes contain position sensors (micrometer accuracy).
  • The sensors measure the current position of the lower and upper electrodes.
  • These measures ensure control of the welding quality and define the conditions for the OK and NOK parts.
  • Electrodes and pins are designed for quick and easy replacement during maintenance.
  • Sensors of the Balluff IO-Link BTL series
  • Ceramic manufactured by Doceram Cerazur (blue ceramic)
