FFT APPLICANT DAY
YOUR STAGE - Almost 100 visitors took the opportunity to get to know the FFT company on 3 November.
FFT organised the second applicant day this year from 3 - 6 pm. On this day, school pupils were able to take a look behind the scenes at FFT and find out about the wide range of career opportunities.
Various stations were set up to familiarise visitors with the technologies, training and study opportunities. Not only was theoretical content conveyed, but everyone was able to discover the world of plant engineering in a playful way through various interactive tasks.
Whether playing tik-tak-toe against a robot, trying to discover a virtual system with augmented reality glasses or creating three-dimensional robots using CAD, everyone was able to put their skills to the test and gain new knowledge. Another highlight was the tour of the FFT halls, during which the individual areas and the ShowRoom were presented.
Fulda University of Applied Sciences was also represented with a stand and presented the two departments of ‘Applied Computer Science’ and ‘Electrical Engineering and Information Technology’. A total of 10 different apprenticeships and dual study programmes offered by FFT were presented. In addition to these, professionals were also welcome to find out about the various professions at FFT.
At the end of the event, exciting discussions were held over tasty burgers and drinks and new contacts were made.
